The Long Island Museum, 1200 Route 25A in Stony Brook presents ‘Long Island Masterworks in Wood,’ an exhibition that includes works by three living area artists who work in wood, David Ebner, William King and Randall Rosenthal; the second featured exhibition in the museum’s Long Island Masterworks series, following a similarly titled 2009 show focused on works on paper by Long Island Artists. Masterworks in Wood will be on display in the Art Museum through November 11, 2011. Open Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Regular admission $9, $7 seniors and $4 students ages 6-17.
